katlefiya's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- study procrastination BLAARRGHGHGHGHGH Owen came into my room extremely drunk/stoned/both this morning and gave me my christmas present: 5 Dex pills. Even so, I'm reasonably confident that I'm doing pretty well in my classes. Except maybe English, where my writing was really good, but I was foiled by my inability to do things ahead of time, which is really required for that class. Other than final exams, everything is pretty much where it should be. Things are going well with the boytoy, which is in line with the way things have been going lately. That is to say, I had expected for things to get fucked up with him pretty quickly, and it didn't, as with everything else that hasn't gone as I expected it to. Alright, fuck, I'm gonna take a crack at studying. Gorram it all. Oh, as an aside, I read the novelization of the Serenity movie, and it sucked. It was nice reliving the movie in my head, but the writing was awful. There were SPELLING MISTAKES. There were sentences that didn't make sense, even in the charming vernacular Mr. Whedon has created for the Firefly universe. Plus the way the author tried to insert information from the series was awkward and wouldn't of made much sense to those who hadn't watched the show. Then again, I find that books based on stories from other media suck in general, but I expected Joss to have a bit more quality control. ALRIGHT! Fuck!
